I absolutely love being a principal, and for the most part, I feel like I do my job pretty well. Being a principal can be extremely rewarding, but it can also be challenging and unpredictable. The part of my job that I find most fulfilling is the relationships I've built with my school family including the teachers, students, parents, and community members. I'm great at working with the students, and I am great at being the instructional leader. It is exciting to work in an environment where everyone at my school is continually striving to improve student learning and achievement. My favorite aspect of being a principal is building a community among students, teachers and staff, and families because culture is the foundation upon which everything else is built.
