It's difficult for me to identify a favorite type of music because music is many different things to me. Music is everywhere, and I consider it to be a universal language. When I think of music I think of singing, solos, instruments, bands, choirs, orchestras, musicals, concerts, radio, recording artist, etc. I like all genres of music including R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Christian, Classical, Hip-Hop, Country, and Pop. I like too many musical artists to list here. I recently read an article that stated music affects the growth of a child's brain academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Music evokes all types of moods and brings all types of people together. I myself play a few instruments including the piano, organ, keyboard, flute, and my voice. Music is an important aspect of my life, and I believe was critical in my development as a well-rounded person. Music makes my world go round!
